About Me
I’m Krischan Ohling, a flight instructor based in Southern Utah. I hold a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor), CMEL (Commercial Multi-Engine Land) and CSEL (Commercial Single Engine Land) Certificate. I am also an Instrument Rated pilot and hold a Complex Endorsement.
My passion for aviation started long before I became a CFI, and I’ve worked hard to turn that passion into a career helping others experience the freedom of flying.
I earned my degree in Aviation Technology – Professional Pilot from Utah State University and have experience as an AH-64 Apache Armament, Avionics, and Electronics Repairer in the Utah Army National Guard. That background taught me the importance of safety, attention to detail, and always being willing to keep learning.
As a flight instructor, my goal is to make flight training affordable, flexible, and enjoyable. I don’t believe every student needs to fit into the same cookie-cutter training program. I work with each student to understand their goals, learn at their own pace, and build the knowledge and skills they need to become confident, safe pilots.
When I’m not flying, you’ll usually find me exploring Southern Utah, hiking, running, working on my Masters degree through Southern Utah University or spending time with my family. I’m excited to help more people discover just how rewarding aviation can be.
